Soul Eater
After the end of both Vampire Knight Season 1 and Code Geass Season 2, I went searching for another anime to watch at work since I do absolutely nothing. I stumbled upon Soul Eater. There are currently 14 episodes out of the projected 51 most of which are subbed by random subbers*. It seems many people do not like this anime. I on the other hand, find it quite entertaining. I refuse to watch the daytime version though, why would I want to see a “cut” series? If I wanted to do that I’d watch the english dub versions. The main characters are pretty good, thogh Black Star really pisses me off, he never knows when to shut up. Other than that, if you can stand heavy comedy (that’s basically all it is) with some fighting I suggest watching it. It’s sorta like….Bleach and Naruto mixed together and the outcome is pretty good.

*7/13/08 I didn’t chose my words that well. Most of them are well known, it’s just that they did not continue with the series so it’s somewhat bits and pieces per say.
Code Geass
Season 2 finished last week. It was fairly good, although the first season contained much more plot. This season was mostly fillers, but for once, the fillers weren’t half bad. Episode 13, sadly, was quite predictable in some respects. Though, you do gain some knowlege into the background of Agent Orange and Lelou’s past (mainly his mother’s death). Despite the sudden and quite frankly, sad ending of Season 2, I am looking forward to the third season which has been rumored to be set for release in mid October.
And it seems I was wrong. Everywhere I read it said there were only going to be 13 episodes. Quite frankly, I’m happy to be wrong
